Meet Our Pharmacist Owner – Aly Govindji

Aly’s journey in healthcare spans over a decade. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Western University (2006–2010), he pursued his passion for pharmacy at University College London (UCL), where he completed a Master’s in Pharmacy (MPharm) in 2010.

His professional career began at large pharmacy chains, including Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart, where he served as a Consultant Pharmacist from 2011 to 2022. During this time, Aly gained invaluable experience in patient care, pharmacy operations, and healthcare solutions, always focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.

In 2022, Aly took the next step becoming the proud owner and lead pharmacist at Victoria Wellness + Pharmacy. Today, he leads a diverse team with the goal of bringing accessible, patient-centered care to the Kitchener-Waterloo region, helping individuals and families navigate their health and wellness needs with compassion and expertise.

While I am satisfied overall with the customer service the only drawback is that they are closed on the weekend which makes it difficult when you urgently need medication especially when dealing with an infection requiring antibiotics.  Too bad that today I am forced to use another pharmacy

The atmosphere is welcoming & the staff are super I get my methadone there daily & if I miss a day they call to check in with me and make sure that  I'm okay, If your unable to go and pick up your meds & they need to witness your dose just call & ask for your meds to be delivered
